Parliament recommends ambitious risk and crisis management

Strasbourg, 20/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - Adopting a report on 16 February by Friedrich-Wilhelm Graefe zu Baringdorf (Greens/EFA, Germany), the bal called for the establishment of ambitious risk and crisis management measures in the agricultural sector, giving a muted welcome to the European Commission's report on the same issue (see Europe 8957). The EP did not amend the report adopted by the EP's Rural Development Committee (see Europe 9129).
