Beijing gives support to Moscow's proposal to relocate Iran's uranium enrichment activities

Brussels, 26/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - Receiving Iran's chief negotiator on the nuclear dossier, Ari Larijani, in Beijing on Thursday, the Chinese authorities announced their support for Moscow's proposal for partial relocation of Iranian uranium enrichment activities to Russian soil. “We feel this proposal is a good attempt to break the deadlock”, the spokesman for the Foreign Minister, Kong Quan, said.
