Spanish company MECALUX (EUR 242 mil turnover in 2004) has become the world's third biggest transport and storage robotics company by buying up competitor ESMENA SA for EUR 125 mil (of which EUR 63 mil in ESMENA debts). With 8 production sites and business in 16 countries, the new company forecasts consolidated turnover of EUR 425 mil in 2005.
