US company HILTON HOTELS CORPORATION (2400 hotels) has bought up the 400 international properties of the UK's HILTON GROUP, reuniting the Hilton hotel brand for the first time since 1964. The US company agreed to pay £3.3 bn (EUR 4.8 bn, USD 5.71 bn). The new Hilton group will now have 475,000 hotel rooms in 80 countries across the globe.
