21/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - EU High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana, has congratulated Bolivian President-elect Evo Morales (the first indigenous President of Bolivia), welcoming the way the 18 December elections had taken place, in exemplary calm and democracy, demonstrating once again the political maturity of the Bolivian people. Solana said a new page was opening for Bolivia, which could continue to count on the EU's support and determined aid.
