22/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to provide EUR 1.5 million from its Rapid Reaction Mechanism to fund the peace and reconciliation process in Colombia. On 3 October, the EU pledged to back the Colombian government's aid to communities hit by the civil war and demobilising child soldiers and helping them get back to normal life.
