15/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The former member of the European Parliament Fiorella Ghilardotti (Democratici di sinistra) has died at the age of 59. Ms Ghilardotti, who was elected to the European Parliament in 1994, was particularly active and committed on social issues. She was also a former president of the Region of Lombardi, a union leader and president of the Women's Group of the Party of European Socialists.
