Parliament supports Commission priorities for Tunis summit

Brussels, 28/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - In the run up to the World Summit on the Information Society to be held in Tunis from 16 to 18 November, the European Parliament adopted on 23 June in Brussels the own-initiative report by French Socialist Catherine Trautmann, largely approving the Commission's proposals for the second phase of the summit after the first meeting in Geneva end 2003 (EUROPE 8964). MEPs trust that the Tunis Summit will make it possible to move towards a common definition...
