17/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The proposal by the European Commission to change the rate of co-funding from 100% to 50% for market measures tackling foot and mouth disease and swine fever was rejected on 10 May in Strasbourg by the European Parliament, contrary to what we indicated in EUROPE 8946. The report by Niels Busk (ALDE, Denmark) was therefore not rejected and the result of the vote confirms the rejection of the Commission proposal by the European Parliament. The question was...
