Barroso Commission - European Parliament set outs its own priorities for 2004-2009

Ahead of the presentation by President Barroso of his detailed programme for the next five years to the 26 and 27 January 2005 plenary in Brussels, the European Parliament adopted a resolution in Strasbourg on 16 December 2004 setting out its own priorities for 2004-2009 (see EUROPE of 17 December, p.10).
