Brussels, 26/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Board of Governors of the European Central Bank (ECB) will be holding its first meeting after the summer holidays in Frankfurt on 2 September. The meeting will be followed by a press conference with the ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet. During the second half of 2004, the ECB's customary meeting away from its Frankfurt headquarters will be held in Brussels on 7 October (this will also be followed by a press conference with Jean-Claude Trichet).
The other meetings scheduled for the Board of Governors in 2004 will be held on 16 September, 4 November (followed by a press conference), 18 November, 2 December (followed by a press conference) and 16 December.
