Brussels, 06/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - The First Convention for European river navigation operators will be held on 26 October in Nancy. This event will bring together more than 300 participants (public and private decision-makers, institutions, professionals) to reflect on the future of European river transport, the "New River Europe" and will focus on: European logistic needs, infrastructure and sustainable development. The convention is jointly organised by Voies navigables de France (VNF), the Regional Council of Lorraine and Inland Navigation Europe (INE).
