22/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised the acquisition of the mobile telephone design and distribution activities of the French group Alcatel by the Chinese manufacturer TCL. The Hong Kong-based company (JVCo), will be 55% owned by TCL and 45% by Alcatel.
