On Wednesday EP's legal committee will examine possibility of re-introducing appeals to passenger files

Brussels, 15/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - A special legal committee of the EP on Wednesday in Brussels will look at the EP's chances of opposing an EU/US agreement on Trans-Atlantic passenger files. Despite EP opposition the Commission and Council have approved this agreement, which allows the US authorities to collate data from EU airlines as a measure to fight terrorism.
