Brussels, 03/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission reacted with "surprise and disappointment" to the decision by the Russian authorities to suspend imports of a range of animal products (notably beef, pork and poultry meats) from the EU as of 1 June, due to sanitary and veterinary certificates.
