20/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the Commission regretted the decision by Milos Kuzvart to withdraw his candidacy to the post of Commissioner for the Czech Republic. Mr Prodi, who is to meet Prime Minister Spidla in coming days, awaits an alternative proposal "as soon as possible".
