17/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - By adopting on 10 February in Strasbourg, the report by Caroline Jackson (British Conservative), the European Parliament has approved the conclusion of the protocol on the Convention of Barcelona for the protection of the Mediterranean Sea against pollution. The protocol involves cooperation in the area of ship pollution prevention measures and in the event of critical situations, the fight against pollution in the Mediterranean.
