ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) pharmaceuticals

The American pharmaceuticals group MERCK AND CO will launch a bid for all of the shares of its Japanese subsidiary BANYU PHARMACEUTICAL which is no longer holds. It is to bid 1,400 yen (10.6 EUR) per share between 17 September and 20 October, to acquire the remaining 4.8% of BANYU.
