Brussels, 05/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the Financial Times indicated that an informed source had confirmed that the possibility of EU nationals living in the United Kingdom British taking part in a referendum on Britain joining the Euro-zone, "is under active consideration" by the government. The possibility of allowing around 725,000 citizens from other Member States is also being examined in the context of preparing a draft euro referendum bill expected next autumn.
