31/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Turkish Parliament has adopted reforms that bring Turkey closes to the "criteria of Copenhagen". It has therefore reduced the votes exerted by the military by making the national Security Council a consultative body that no longer has executive powers. It has also agreed to the government proposal of proving a partial amnesty to members of the PKK.
