28/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to data published on Monday by the European Central Bank (ECB), the growth rate of M3, money in circulation, in the euro zone was slower in June than in 2002. It stood at 8.3%, having attained a growth rate of 8.5% in May. The ECB also announced a falling-off of credits to residents in June (+4.8% compared to +5.0% in May), and of credits to the private sector (+5.1% against +5.2% in May).
