01/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The EU Council of Ministers decided, on 27 June, to add Stichting Al Aqsa (alias Al Aqsa Nederland) to its blacklist of terrorist organisations. This decision results in the freeze of the suspected organisation's assets within the Union despite its denials that it had funded Hamas suicide attacks. All the bank accounts of Al Aqsa Nederland had already been blocked by The Hague on 9 April due to suspicion.
