Porto Carras, 22/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The EU-Balkans summit that took place in Porto Carras (as an extension to the European Council) confirmed the European perspective on the Balkans, while reaffirming that their accession to the European Union would depend on efforts made for accomplishing necessary reform. All participants welcomed the results of the summit, as well as the adoption of the joint declaration outlining the main guidelines and their future cooperation.
