02/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The next round of enlargement of the EU will require that the European agricultural policy makes a new turn, says the President of Coldiretti, Paolo Bedoni, in a press release. He hopes the enlarged EU will not only be "bigger but also more agricultural". Bedoni said that nearly two thirds of the seasonal immigrant workers from outside the EU who work on farms in Italy come from Eastern Europe.
