DEUTSCHE TELEKOM has sold its 5% stake in MTS - MOBILE TELESYSTEMS, the largest Russian mobile telephone operator. It paid USD 200 million for the sale. USD 4.9 millions in shares were also sold to institutional investors for EUR 40.50 per share. Until now, DEUTSCHE TELEKOM controlled 40.1% of MTS.
