The regional Italian bank BANCA POPOLARE DI LODI is planning to launch a friendly take-over bid of BPCR - BANCA POPOLARE DI CREMONA for an overall amount of EUR 671.7 million. This operation is part of a partnership agreement that in the long run will see BANCA POPOLARE DI CREMONA (69 agencies) absorbed by BANCA POPOLARE DI LODI (852 agencies), giving birth to one of the largest banking groups in Lombardy.
