Brussels, 14/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The new agreement on the trade in textile products between the Union and Cambodia took effect on 1 January 2003. Initialled on 23 October last year, the agreement is subject to a reciprocity condition and is provisionally applied pending the completion of procedures needed for its formal conclusion.
The same is true for the Euro-Nepal "textile" agreement, also initialled on 23 October last. The text of the agreement, as well as the Council's decision relating to its signature and to its provisional application, appeared in full in the Official Journal L 348.
