Brussels, 12/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - As EUROPE reported earlier, the European Commission has adopted a number of humanitarian aid measures worth EUR 10.3 million for countries in Asia and Africa:
Cambodia: EUR 4.8 million, for water supply works, medical equipment, training for health personnel, small-scale rehabilitation and mine clearance.
China: EUR 2 million, primarily for the purchase of rice and wheat for farmers and their families (around 100,000 people) whose crops were destroyed...
