16/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Friday the Council adopted without debate, a common action on the EU's contribution to the fight against the distribution of small arms and small-bore weapons and the traffic in ammunition for these kinds of weapons. The common action intends creating an international consensus on this fight and providing technical and financial assistance to projects in this area.
