21/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report of Ilda Figueriredo (GUE, Portugal) on the Commission's communication on social inclusion, the European Parliament is effectively calling for an inter-institutional agreement on the open co-ordination method, which involves full EP participation. The EP also reasserts the need for an integrated strategic and multi-dimensional approach based on the objectives defined at Nice.
