21/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 20 June the EU Council of Ministers adopted a Common Position amending a previsous International Court position. In the perspective of the forthcoming entry into force of the Courts Statute of 1 July 2002, this Common Position is to support the early establishmnt and effective functioning of the Court and to advance univesal support for the Court bu promoting the widest possible participation in the Statute.
