24/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Council has adopted the decision aiming to extend the fishing agreement signed between the Community and Guinea (see EUROPE 25 October 2001) from 1 January - 31 December 2002. Fishing fleets from Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal and France will benefit from the fishing opportunities (shellfish, prawns, tuna). The financial counterpart from the EU has been set at EUR 2.960 million.
