30/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - MEPs of the CDU-CSU with Ingo Friedrich at their head held a meeting with the representatives of the German and European taxpayers associations. A press release by Mr Friedrich indicates that, on this occasion, the "proposal by German Commissioner Schreyer to introduce an EU tax came up against unanimous refusal".
