The Italian firm BIESSE, specialised in machines for working wood, glass and marble, has, through its New Zealand subsidiary, acquired the Australian groups ALLWOOD MACHINERY CO PTY LTD, ALLWOOD MACHINERY QLD PTY LTD, and ALLWOOD MACHINERY LIMITED for some 5.35 bn lira.
