06/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Minister-President of Bavaria, Edmund Stoiber is making a speech on the Future of Europe at Humbolt University, Berlin, on 8 November in which he intends stating, among other things, that the priority for the future will be to "clarify what tasks a Europe of 27 or 30 members must and can assume together", says a press release from his own press services. According to the press release, when the distribution of powers at different levels takes place "there could, in individual cases, be further transfers of powers to the European level, but Europe must also be ready to hand powers to Member States".
