Brussels, 24/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - By adopting an action programme for Kyrgyzstan under the Tacis programme, the European Commission has decided to allocate 9.1 million euro. Community assistance will focus especially on (1) aid to institutional, legal and administrative reforms (2.4 million), (2) support for the private sector and economic development (2.8 million euro) and reform of public transport (1.2 million).
