Go-ahead to joint venture between HHLA and Hapag-Lloyd for operation of new container terminal in port of Hamburg

Brussels, 23/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission authorised the creation of a joint undertaking between Hamburger Hafen- und Lagerhaus- Aktiengesellschaft (HHLA) and Hapag-Lloyd AG (Hapag-Lloyd). HHLA is active in the traffic management sector of the maritime ports and operates, among others, three container terminals in the port of Hamburg.
