Brussels, 16/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - In two separate decisions last Friday, the Commission approved the Belgium firm Fabrocim (controlled by the electricity firm Tractebel, subsidiary of Suez), which provides installation and management/maintenance services in the field of electromechanical installations, to take sole control of: Sulzer Infra (belonging to Sulzer AG); the Dutch firm GTI (installation and maintenance management services in the electromechanical field). The Commission considered that these two takeovers would not raise problems of competition on the installation of electromechanical systems market, nor other related markets.
