The board of the Italian group MONTEDISON accepted the higher offer of EUR 3.16 offered on its capital by ITALENERGIA (Italian FIAT group associated with the French EDF). This approval puts an end to the legal battle between MONTEDISON and the bidders. See EI of 20 July.
