17/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Kudrine affirmed, according to reports from the Interfax Agency, that Russia is expected to join the World Trade Organisation in 2002 or 2003. "Further to my consultations with the European Union", he said, "I have the feeling that our position is being heard, that Russia's entry is well received".
