Commission and EIB grant EUR 1 billion to EU film and audiovisual industry

Brussels, 18/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have proposed, on Friday, to the European film and audiovisual industry a support of one billion Euros, which will be distributed in the form of financial products offered by the EIB Group and budgetary aids allocated in the framework of the Media Plus programme.
