ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The British financial services group OLD MUTUAL concluded an agreement with the American company SAINT PAUL FIRE AND MARINE for the acquisition of its subsidiary F&G LIFE - FIDELITY AND GUARANTY LIFE INSURANCE (life insurance and retirement products; funds under management $5 billion end December 2000) for the sum of £441 million.
