ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

British CGNU has sold its Italian life insurance subsidiary NUV-NORWICH UNION VITA to HELVETIA for an undisclosed amount. NUV collected EUR 35.7 million in 2000, taking HELVETIA 's turnover in Italy to CHF 410 million, or 8% of its activity.
