15/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - "What has the Swedish Presidency got against the German language?", asked Per Gahrton, Swedish member of the Green Group in the EP, regarding information in the German press by which "German will not be treated on an equal footing with French and English" in several EU Council meetings under the Swedish Presidency.
