08/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The services under Commissioner Michaele Schreyer will henceforth forward to the budgetary authority each week by e-mail the data regarding implementation of the budget. This was agreed by the Commission, Parliament and Council at an informal trilogue in Stockholm with the buzzword "more transparency and savings in paper". Earlier, the EP Committee on Budgets and the Council only received this information once every half year, and in paper form.
