ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

The French group EDF signed a protocol agreement with the Spanish groups ENDESA and REPSOL-YFP in view of the acquisition of the stakes held by the latter in the Argentine company EDENOR, electricity distributor in the Buenos Aires region. Thus the French will increase its stake in the Argentine group from 32 to 81%. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.
