ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

According to the Financial Times, TELECOM ITALIA is looking to take over AUNA, Spanish telecommunications operator and the main competitor of TELEFONICA and its subsidiary TELEFONICA MOVILES. The Italian operator already holds 27% of AUNA and has been negotiating the take over for several weeks with the Spanish ENDESA, presently a major shareholder in AUNA (28%).
