27/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown and the British Development Secretary Claire Short announced, on Monday in London, initiatives to fight against child poverty in the world, including an initiative to ensure primary education for all children in the Commonwealth.
