27/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, Council adopted a directive simplifying the European legislation on recognition of diplomas, approved by the Council and the EP in January during conciliation procedure. The directive stipulates that Member States must rule rapidly on requests for recognition of diplomas.
