27/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - After hearing UK Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, Monday's council agreed to propose to the government of Zimbabwe a dialogue under Article 8 of the ACP-EC Cotonou Agreement (that provides for the opening of such dialogue between the Union and ACP States in the case of violation of the values proclaimed by the agreement - human rights and democracy).
